What is the VITA Program?
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is an IRS-sponsored initiative designed to offer free tax preparation services to individuals and families with low to moderate incomes, especially those living in rural areas. Our team of IRS-certified volunteers is trained to ensure your tax return is completed accurately and securely—at no cost to you!
Many of our VITA volunteers have extensive tax preparation experience and are passionate about helping community members navigate tax season stress-free.
Why Choose VITA for Your Tax Preparation?
-
Completely Free: There are no fees for VITA services—your tax return preparation is 100% free.
-
Avoid Costly Fees: Unlike tax preparation companies that charge high fees or offer "rapid refunds" as high-interest loans, VITA ensures you receive your full refund without additional costs.
-
Expert Assistance: Our volunteers receive IRS certification and annual training to stay up-to-date on tax law changes.
Where and When Can You File?
